OBITUARY.
Mr. Albert Aaron Muldoon.
An old esteemed resident of Tinonee, in the person of Mr. Albert Aaron Muldoon, passed away at his residence
at 7.30 on Thursday morning, at the age of 84 years.
Born at Clarence Town, he came to the Manning with his parents.
Later on he went to West Australia, where he resided for 36 years and about thirty years ago returned to
the Manning.
Mr. Muldoon was married twice. His first wife (nee Miss Arnold) predeceased him about 48 years ago.
The family of this marriage were: Mrs. W. Palmer (Harrington), Matron Muldoon (Tasmania),
and Mr. Albert Muldoon (of Western Australia). Two other members of the family are deceased.
Some time after the death of his first wife, Mr. Muldoon married Miss Catherine Sutherland, at Perth,
by whom he is survived, together with the following family: Thomas (Glen Innes). Mrs. R. Nelson
(Upper Lansdowne), Mrs. Le Claire (Sydney), William (Dorrigo), Harry (Tinonee), Frank (Nabiac),
Robert (Glenthorne), Mrs. Spooner (Moree), Mrs. Cavanagh (Mitchell’s Island), and Miss Lucy
Muldoon (Tinonee).
Three others are deceased.
Surviving’ sister and brother are Mrs. Halford (Taylor’s Arm) and Mr. David Muldoon (Port Macquarie).
Four brothers and a sister are deceased.
The late Mr. Muldoon in his earlier career was for a time a school teacher. He was a keen cricketer and was a fine
exponent of the game.
At various times he followed dairy farming, butchering and the timber trade with horse teams.
The funeral left the Tinonee Methodist Church on Friday for Tinonee Cemetery, where Rev, G. A. Knight
conducted the service.

OBITUARY
MR. A. A. MULDOON
Mr. Albert Aaron Muldoon, whose death occurred yesterday morning spent his young life
driving horse teams for his father’s sawmill at Tinonee. 
Had he lived until May 30 he would have reached the 84th milestone.
The late highly respected gentleman was born at Clarence Town in the year 1869.
He came to Tinonee with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Muldoon at the age of 15.
When he was 27, he set sail for Western Australia, accompanied by his wife.
Taking up land near Bunbury, Aaron Muldoon engaged in farming and dairying, until
about 30 years, ago, when he returned to Tinonee and purchased the old homestead,
where he passed away yesterday.
Intensely interested in all sporting activities, Mr. Muldoon was himself a keen cricketer.
His wife survives and the following children: Matron M. G. Muldoon (Tasmania), Clarice
(Mrs. W. H. Palmer, Harrington), Thomas (Guyra), Adelaide (Mrs. Reg Nelson, Lansdowne),
William (Dorrigo) , Harry (Tinonee) , Dorry (Mrs. Le Claire, Sydney), Madge (Mrs. Spooner, Moree),
Frank (Nabiac) , Edith (Mrs. Chum Cavanagh, Jones’ Island), Lucy (Tinonee), and Bob (Glenthorne).
A son, Keith, predeceased him 14 months ago.
The remaining brothers and sisters are David; Port Macquarie, and Mary Anne (Mrs. Halford,
Taylor’s Arm).
Rev. G. A. Knight officiated at the funeral and Mr. W. T. Howard was in charge of arrangements.
